For years, Canes fans scattered across Rockledge, Viera, Melbourne, and Palm Bay had nowhere to watch games together. Everybody had a group text or a handful of friends who'd meet up somewhere, but there was no real club — no consistent watch party, no organized road trips to Hard Rock Stadium, nothing that tied the Brevard County Hurricanes community together. Space Coast Canes was started to fix that. We're not affiliated with the University of Miami — we're just die-hard fans who got tired of watching alone.
This club is for anyone who bleeds orange and green, full stop. Doesn't matter if you're a UM alum, a transplant who grew up watching the Bennett brothers and Michael Irvin, or someone who just started paying attention during the Mario Cristobal era. If you're a Canes fan anywhere in Brevard County, this is your club. No test, no dues requirement to show up — just show up.
Here's what membership gets you: a reserved section at our official watch party home, Walk-On's Sports Bistreaux — Viera, every single game day this season. We're also organizing road trips down to Hard Rock Stadium for home games, so you don't have to make that drive alone or pay for parking you didn't plan for. There's a private members-only group chat for game-day chatter, trip coordination, and trash talk. And we've built three membership tiers — Cane Fan (free), Hurricane ($25/year), and VIP ($60/year) — so you can get involved at whatever level makes sense for you.
Joining is simple and free. Head to our contact page, fill out the quick sign-up form, and you're in — you'll get added to the group chat and hear about our first watch party as soon as the schedule is locked in. The season opener is Miami at Stanford on Friday, September 4, at 9 PM on ESPN, and we want the whole Space Coast crew there — virtually or in person at Walk-On's — when it kicks off.
